Scalp Micropigmentation For Women
Perception is reality, we will make your hair look much fuller
Many believe scalp micropigmentation is only for men, but it's actually common that many of our clients are women dealing with hair loss. This can be due to overall thinning or alopecia, menopause, genetics, or other conditions that usually follow a physical or emotional trauma, like childbirth. Certain types of hormone imbalances or deficiency can drastically effect the regrowth of hair for women.
Why SMP is the right choice for hair loss
We can't imagine a better option for women with thinning hair. The procedure is quick and easy....we shade the areas of the scalp with missing hair, which gives the illusion of a full head of hair. We find the perfect color to match your skin tone in combination with your hair color to give the perception of a natural, FULL head of hair. Nobody would ever know otherwise by looking at it or even touching it.
Scalp Micropigmentation or "SMP", is the ideal option for women with thinning hair. We have treated hundreds of women who can attest to the ease and quality of the results. If you want to do something about your hair loss, scalp micropigmentation is the answer.
We will consult with you and decide on the amount and location of which the SMP will be applied. You will enter a spa like environment with an adjustable leather chair to relax on for maximum comfort throughout the procedure. You will also have your choice of music, movies, shows, sports, and anything you desire to help you get in the right state of mind. The application process is usually quite painless, although there may be a little discomfort in more sensitive regions like the temples. To counter this, we offer our own numbing cream specifically designed for SMP.
When applying our inks, we match the color to your native hair, then go a shade darker, to compensate for the fading that will occur in the first week. This will provide the perception of a full head of hair, a “3d” look if you will. We create a natural look by choosing lighter shades around the edges of your hairline. To achieve maximum density, we fill in the crown area with increased follicle replication.
Our procedure requires 2-3 sessions which are completed within a week of each other. Each session will last anywhere from 3 to 5 hours, and there's hardly any down time, you can go straight to work the next day.
